the study of effective factors on women motivations from watching serials satellite channel of gem (gem tv) (case study: women of kamyaran city)

the purpose of this research is study of effective factors on women motivations from watching serials persian-language satellite channel of gem (gem tv). this research depending on the type arrangement of variables and research goals in template of schemes correlation- comparative is foundation. the statistical population of this study is consisted of all women audience network series of gem (gem tv) in the kamyaran city that through snowball sampling, 195 people as the sample were selected. the instrument used is questionnaire modified shahabi and jahangardi. in order to analysis of the data, correlation tests, t (t-test) and anova were used. the quantitative results of this study also show that as age goes up, tendency of individuals to watching the series of the network gem with educational motivation will be reduced and instead, they tend to watch tv series of gem networks with facilitate social interaction motivation and increase the motivation to escape from everyday reality. the findings indicate that the educational motivation single people in the watching network tv series gem more than married people. also the results showed that in watching network tv series of gem, motivation of acquire education and social prestige in higher economic classes, more than the lower classes but escape from everyday reality and facilitate social interaction motivation is more among people of the lower classes. in this regard, seems to be that class, age and marital status as a major component, have many influenced in the types of motivation women from watching the series.
